Recycled cotton / recycled polyester. Flat shopper bag with 70 cm long handles in the same fabric as the bag. This bag is part of the "K-loop" project. With this project, Kimood closes the circle of the circular economy in the strict sense of the word. The cotton used comes from the manufacturing waste of Kariban cotton products, from the KARIBAN BRANDS range. The polyester used comes from recycling PET plastic bottles. During the recycling process, tracers are added to the yarn, specifically viscose and ceramic filaments that act as a unique fingerprint. Tracers reflect light in a unique way and therefore carry a unique and indecipherable code. This allows us to store all the information about the processes that the thread has undergone in a unique way in a chain of blocks or blockchain. Thanks to the Aware™ tracking technology and the corresponding blockchain platform, Kimood allows the end consumer to follow the entire production process. This ensures that the product has been recycled using its own waste, without possible alterations in the process. A special label with a QR code allows access to the Aware™ platform and direct authentication of certifications through a simple smartphone.
